Green, how I love you green.

Green wind. Green branches.

The ship upon the sea

and the horse on the mountain.

With darkness on her waist

she dreams on her balcony,

green flesh, green hair,

with eyes of cold silver.

Green, how I love you green.

Beneath the gypsy moon,

things are looking at her

and she cannot look at them.

I don't really like the poetry we learn at school but roughly once per semester I like one poem and become obsessed with it... This is my tribute to "Green, how I love you green" by Frederico García Lorca (I didn't draw her as gipsy because I cannot draw non-white ethnic groups without making them very ugly, I am not racist or whatever).

*she is also supposed to be floating on the surface of the water, I hope I managed to do it :S
